PREPARING FOR YOUR LASH APPOINTMENT:

  • Please arrive on time to receive optimal fullness and results

  • Please come to your appointment with your lashes free of any makeup and/or buildup. Allotting time to deep clean your lashes will allow for less time for your Licensed Practitioner to apply the extensions or lash lift treatment. For optimal fullness and retention, arriving with clean lashes is crucial.

  • Please avoid caffeinated beverages prior to your appointment. Caffeine can make it difficult to relax, causing our eyelids to flutter. Fluttering eyelids can increase the chances of irritation and make it difficult for your Licensed Practitioner to achieve optimal fullness.

  • Please complete any of your normal activities that involve getting your lashes wet prior to your appointment. Examples include showering, working out, going in the sauna or steam room, etc.

  • If you have contacts, please wear your glasses to ensure the safety of your eyes and contacts during the appointment.

  • Please fill out all of your consent forms prior to arriving at your appointment. If you are under the age of 18 we require a parental guardian’s signature before your scheduled appointment.

  • If you are missing more than 30% of extensions at your fill appointment, please contact us to adjust the type and time of the appointment.

PREPARING FOR BARE & BRONZED SPRAY APPOINTMENT:

  • Plan all hair removal services 24-48 hours before spray tanning. This will minimize possible irritation, and allow open hair follicles/pores to close. This will also minimize a dotted tan appearance

  • We recommend waxing and laser services always are done 48 hours in advance

  • Be sure to exfoliate your entire body 24 hours before your appointment. Make sure to exfoliate your elbows, knees, ankles, neck, and other particularly dry areas (as these areas can catch the solution resulting in oversaturation)

  • If possible, come with fresh skin. Shower right before the appointment with only water - no soaps, lotions, oils, etc.

  • Come to your appointment with skin free of lotions, oils, makeup, deodorant (will have baby wipes to remove any though)

  • Wear loose, dark clothing to prevent tan lines and to avoid any product transfer

  • Bare & Bronzed Spray should be your last stop - make all hair, lashes, brow, nail appointments prior to tan. This will ensure that your tan will develop properly and evenly. Plan all hair removal services 24-48 hours before spray tanning. This will minimize possible irritation, and allow open hair follicles/pores to close. This will also minimize a dotted tan appearance.

FOLLOWING YOUR BARE & BRONZED SPRAY APPOINTMENT

  • Speak with your Bare + Bronzed Spray Professional to determine  when you should take your first shower based upon your desire bronzed finish

  • Remember that what you see immediately after your appointment is only BRONZER (think a whole layer of makeup on your body). The bronzer will move around, shift, and smudge. Do not panic. This will even out in the first shower.

  • Stay COMPLETELY dry for a minimum of 3 hours. This means NO showering, sweating, washing hands, and NO oils, creams, makeup, deodorant, etc.

  • The first shower is just a quick, lukewarm rinse for about one minute. You will see the color coming down the drain - this is just the bronzer. This is supposed to happen. Do not use any soap in your first shower.  (no loofahs or washcloths, no shaving)

  • After your first shower, you are able to wear any clothing you would like.

  • The tan should last about a week but this is dependent on how well you take care of your tan. Taking good care of it means using products free of parabens, sulfates, and mineral oil.

  • Be gentle with your skin. Pat your skin dry after showering. Do not use loofahs, exfoliants, or washcloths while you have your tan. This will take the tan off.

  • Avoid using dull razors.

  • MOISTURIZE daily to keep your tan from getting patchy as it starts to fade (this is one of the most important aftercare pieces)

  • Do not go in chlorine, sweat, sauna, etc for at least 24-48 hours
